World gold medal goes to Iranian female wushu athlete

Pars Today – Zahra Kiani, representing the Islamic Republic of Iran, claimed the gold medal at the World Wushu Championships with an outstanding performance.
According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, the fourth day of the 17th World Wushu Championships 2025 began on Saturday, September 6, in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. In the taolu event in the Changshu form, Zahra Kiani performed last on the Taolu field and, after competing against 27 athletes, secured first place and won the gold medal.
Earlier, in the second round of the Sanda group matches at 90 kg, Mehdi Moradi faced “Cruz Perez” from Mexico and defeated his opponent by technical knockout in the first round, claiming the gold medal and earning Iran’s first gold in Wushu at the World Championships in Brazil.
