Three gold medals for Iran’s women’s national team: Dominance at the World Wushu Championships

Pars Today – All three members of Iran’s women’s wushu team competing in the sanda category claimed gold medals at the World Wushu Championships.
At the 17th edition of the championships in Brazil, Iran’s women shone on the global stage. According to Pars Today, Seddigheh Daryaei (65 kg) defeated Sudenaz Guli of Turkey 2–0 in the final to secure the gold, after overcoming opponents from Mexico and Italy in earlier rounds.
Soheila Mansourian (70 kg) battled China’s Rui Ping Chen in a close contest, winning 2–1 to clinch the gold. She had previously defeated rivals from Bermuda and Tunisia on her way to the final.
Shahrbanoo Mansourian (75 kg) dominated India’s Shi Vani with a decisive 2–0 victory, earning yet another gold medal after eliminating fighters from Egypt and the United States.
This marks Shahrbanoo Mansourian’s sixth world championship gold medal, setting a new record in her career.
The 17th World Wushu Championships will conclude Sunday night with the men’s sanda finals.
