Latest developments on Gaza ceasefire deal 

Pars Today – Two buses carrying Palestinian prisoners released from Israeli jails arrived in Ramallah on Monday as part of the ceasefire deal and were welcomed by thousands of Palestinians.

• Trump thanked Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for helping to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.
• After a stop in the Occupied Territories, Donald Trump arrived in Egypt, where world leaders have gathered for a summit on Gaza.
• In response to the prisoner exchange, the Hamas movement emphasized that Netanyahu and the Israeli army, despite two years of genocidal war and destruction, failed to free their captives by force and ultimately had to yield to the resistance’s conditions. The resistance reiterated that the only way for the captives to return is through a prisoner exchange and an end to the genocidal war.
• The Al-Qassam Brigades announced that all 20 living Israeli captives have been released as part of the prisoner exchange agreement with the Israeli regime.
• The Palestinian prisoners’ media office announced that today, 1,968 Palestinian prisoners will be released as part of the third phase of the “Freedom Storm” deal. Among them, 250 are serving life sentences or other heavy sentences, while 1,718 are detainees from the Gaza Strip who were arrested after October 7.
• Images of several freed Palestinian children and teenagers were seen among the convoy of released prisoners.
• Buses carrying the freed Palestinian prisoners, under the prisoner exchange agreement with the Israeli regime, entered the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Abu Salem crossing.
• The Palestinian risoners’ media office announced that at least 154 Palestinian detainees, who were freed on Monday as part of the prisoner exchange involving Israeli captives in Gaza, will be forced into exile by Israel.
• Some of the released prisoners, due to their critical physical condition, were immediately taken to hospitals and medical centers by Palestinian Civil Defense teams after disembarking from the buses carrying the prisoner convoy.
• Palestinian men and women welcomed the freed prisoners with joyous cheers. The mothers of the released prisoners, with tears in their eyes, embraced their sons and gave thanks to God.
• A Palestinian reporter said that hundreds of prisoners, as part of the first convoy of freed Palestinians, returned home after years of imprisonment and torture, greeted with an extraordinary and heartfelt reception by citizens and the families of the freed prisoners.
• Trump, continuing his speech in the Knesset, asked the head of the Israeli regime, Isaac Herzog, to pardon Benjamin Netanyahu, who faces corruption charges.
• In the Knesset Trump said: “We produce the best weapons and we give vast quantities of them to Israel.”
