Axios: Iran invited to Gaza summit in Egypt

Pars Today – An Axios reporter claimed that Iran has been invited to participate in the leaders’ summit on Gaza, scheduled for Monday in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.

Barak Ravid, a journalist for Axios, wrote on X that the U.S. State Department issued a formal invitation on Saturday for the summit, which will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh on Monday.

According to the report, the U.S. has significantly expanded the list of invited countries, adding nations such as Spain, Japan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Hungary, India, El Salvador, Cyprus, Greece, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Canada.

Barak Ravid further claimed in his thread that, according to a knowledgeable source, Iran is also among the invitees. Reports indicate that Israel will not participate in this summit. / Fars News Agency
