Pars Today – The commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Navy emphasized that from the Strait of Hormuz to the northern Persian Gulf, the Navy has played a vital role in Iran’s national security through active presence and advanced command systems.

Rear Admiral Shahram Irani, commander of the Iranian Navy, said on Friday that Iran’s naval force is now a crucial and decisive power on the global stage— a status achieved through overseas operations, including the 86th flotilla, and through advances in command systems in recent years. According to Pars Today, Admiral Irani added that the successful presence of comrades and commanders across various ranks has elevated Iran’s standing within its armed forces, a position achieved through the sacrifice of martyrs and the support of the Islamic Revolution.

The Navy commander also highlighted the role of the Naval University in producing skilled specialists, noting that through academic and practical training, the university has paved the way for the success and progress of young people. He added that today’s students will proudly shoulder the heavy responsibility of defending Iran.
