Pars Today - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran syas today, the world must witness that the people of Iran have taken to the streets in millions across the country to honor their Revolution, obey the leadership of the system, and defend their values and proud land.
Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, spoke on Wednesday, coinciding with the 47th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, at the magnificent gathering of the February 11th marchers who assembled at Tehran's Azadi Square. He stated: The people of Iran rose up to establish justice, to make Iran independent, and to show the world that Iranians are capable of building their country with their own strength, will, knowledge, and artistry, bringing about honor and freedom.
According to Pars Today, the President of Iran emphasized: The United States and Europe exerted their utmost efforts to cripple the Islamic Revolution of Iran but failed. They imposed an eight-year war upon us, supported Saddam Hussein in his attempts to partition and conquer Iran and force it into defeat, yet the Iranian youth courageously defended the country, the system, and the Revolution by sacrificing their lives.
Pezeshkian, stressing that in the past, a certain group looted the country's resources in the name of Iran and took them away, and today they still claim they have the capability to run the country, added: Iran's honorable martyrs possessed no capital other than their lives, and they sacrificed even that for the sake of their homeland and for the glory of this nation. The martyrdom of these martyrs is strong proof that the enemies target for assassination those who are willing to give their entire being for this country.
The President of Iran assessed the role of regional and Islamic countries in thwarting the conspiracy of the enemies as significant and added: Regional countries, one after another, shared their concerns and positions with us in telephone calls. On this path, I appreciate the officials, presidents, and leaders of regional countries including Turkey, Qatar, the UAE, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and others who were concerned about Iran and sought a peaceful and diplomatic resolution to regional issues, so that the Israeli regime and the US would not be allowed to implement their sinister plans.
Pezeshkian emphasized: Iran will not bow to the excessive demands of the US and Europe; we are not seeking nuclear weapons and are ready for verification; we are in dialogue with regional countries for peace and stability.
The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing that our region has no need for the presence of foreigners, stated: We are ready for dialogue within the framework of international law and Iran's rights, and we will not deviate from the red lines set by the Leader of the Revolution.
