Pars Today – The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has called for the condemnation of the attack on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, describing it as the least expected action from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
According to Pars Today, the AEOI announced on Saturday, following the fourth attack on the Bushehr nuclear facility by the United States and Israel, that:
“Condemning the attack on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities and ending the inaction in response to it are the minimum expectations from the International Atomic Energy Agency within the framework of its statutory responsibilities. The Islamic Republic of Iran will also pursue the protection of its sovereign nuclear rights and the reasons behind this inaction by the IAEA Director General through legal channels.”
It is noteworthy that, following continued U.S.–Israeli “criminal attacks,” a projectile struck near the perimeter fence of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant early this morning. The blast wave and shrapnel from the attack caused damage to one of the auxiliary buildings, and one member of the plant’s physical protection unit was martyred.
