Qalibaf: U.S. must accept Iran’s rights

Pars Today – The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament said that reaching an agreement ahead of the start of the Islamabad negotiations depends on the United States accepting Iran’s rights.
According to Pars Today, Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament and head of Iran’s negotiating delegation in Pakistan, said that Iran has come to the Islamabad talks in good faith but does not trust the United States.
He added that the United States must present a genuine plan for an agreement, under which it must accept the rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran; in that case, Iran is ready to reach an agreement
The Speaker of Iran’s Parliament also stated that the United States has not honored its promises in past negotiations.
An Iranian negotiating delegation headed by Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, on Friday evening to hold talks with the U.S. side.
