Iranian, Pakistani interior ministers discuss promoting regional peace and stability

Pars Today – Pakistan’s Interior Minister arrived in Tehran on a two-day official visit aimed at facilitating dialogue and promoting regional peace, where he received a warm welcome from his Iranian counterpart.

According to Pars Today, citing Tasnim News Agency, Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Hassan Naqvi, met on Saturday with Iran’s Interior Minister, Eskandar Momeni, to discuss bilateral relations and the prospects for the resumption of peace talks between the United States and Iran.

During the meeting, Iran’s Interior Minister praised Pakistan’s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.

The two sides also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the historic and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Iran, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation to advance peace, security, and prosperity throughout the region.

The meeting further included discussions on issues of mutual interest, including sustainable regional peace and the latest regional developments.
