Pars Today — During the meeting between the Pakistani Army Commander and Iran's Foreign Minister in Tehran, the latest diplomatic efforts and initiatives to prevent escalation of tensions and end the war have been reviewed.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Commander of the Pakistani Army, who traveled to Tehran for consultations and exchange of views with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met and held talks with Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, on Friday evening.

The meeting, which continued late into the night, saw the two sides exchange views on the latest diplomatic efforts and initiatives to prevent escalation of tensions and end the imposed war by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran, as well as strategies to strengthen peace, stability, and security in the West Asia region.
