Pars Today – The funeral procession for the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution is underway in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf, with a massive crowd of mourners in attendance.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, the body of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution arrived in Najaf on Tuesday evening after three days of farewell ceremonies and funeral processions in Tehran and one day of funeral rites in Qom. It was received with a warm and large-scale welcome by Iraqi officials and the public before being transferred to its designated location.

Early Wednesday morning, the bodies of the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution and his martyred family members were carried around the shrine of Imam Ali (pbuh) in Najaf. Funeral prayers were then offered for the martyrs.

Huge crowds of Iraqi mourners who gathered in Najaf to bid farewell to the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution chanted anti-American slogans, expressing their anger and condemnation.
