Asian Youth Weightlifting Championships: Iranian female on top of Asia

Pars Today – Iran’s women’s weightlifting representative won first place in the 77kg category at the Asian Youth Championships.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the Asian Youth and Junior Weightlifting Championships concluded with Iranian weightlifter Anahita Zarei winning the 77kg title. The Iranian athlete won a bronze medal in the snatch and two gold medals in the clean and jerk and overall total.

Another Iranian representative, Nasim Ghasemi, also competed in the youth 77kg category, winning a gold medal in the snatch and two silver medals in the clean and jerk and overall total.
