Asian youth handball championship: Iran beat Kuwait

Pars Today – Iran’s national youth handball team defeated Kuwait in its third group-stage match at the 2026 Asian Youth Handball Championship in Jordan.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iran faced Kuwait in its third match of the tournament, which is currently underway in Jordan, and secured a victory.

Iran’s young players put their opponents under pressure from the opening minutes, thanks to their high motivation and strong preparation. They built a four-goal lead and ended the first half ahead 13–9. Their dominance continued in the second half, as Mohammadreza Rajabi’s side successfully implemented the coaching staff’s tactical plans and maintained their advantage to secure a 21–18 victory over Kuwait.

With their second win of the tournament, Iran’s youth team moved to four points and secured qualification for the next round.
