Brig. Gen. Elhami: Iran is producing and replacing air defense systems

Pars Today – The commander of Iran’s Army Air Defense Force and the commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Joint Air Defense Headquarters of the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced the production and replacement of air defense systems.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Brigadier General Alireza Elhami, referring to the performance of Iran’s air defense during the two previous U.S.-imposed wars against Iran and the use of Iranian systems against various types of enemy aircraft, said: “We employed all our capabilities, drawing on our experience and resources, to mount the most effective possible response to the enemy’s aerial aggression.”

The commander of Iran’s Army Air Defense Force added: “The second imposed war provided Iran with valuable experience, which was put to use in the next war. Everyone saw that this effectiveness became even more evident during the third U.S.-imposed war against Iran, when we successfully engaged and struck a considerable number of the enemy’s effective and strategic drones, as well as fighter jets.”

Brigadier General Elhami stressed: “We are currently moving forward by relying entirely on 100-percent Iranian capabilities. We are adding new systems to our arsenal and reproducing systems that performed well during the third imposed war.”
