Qalibaf: Iran-China relations needs no one’s permission

Parstoday – Iran’s Parliament Speaker said that the comprehensive strategic partnership between Iran and China does not need anyone’s permission.

According to Parstoday, citing the IRIB, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament and Iran’s special representative for China affairs, wrote in a social media post on Wednesday night, in response to China’s position on not complying with US sanctions against Iran: “We welcome China’s principled statement rejecting illegal sanctions against Iran.”

Qalibaf added: “The Iran-China comprehensive strategic partnership is rooted in mutual respect, win-win cooperation, and a shared vision for a multipolar world. This relationship needs no one’s permission.”
