Maj. Gen. Hatami: We have stood firm against enemies

Pars Today – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army said that the enemy sought to destroy Iran’s missile and drone capabilities, but they continued to be launched at the enemy with the utmost intensity until the very last moment.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army, referring to the performance of the armed forces in confronting the enemy during the recent imposed wars, said: “According to military doctrine, the attacking and aggressor side is considered victorious when it achieves its objectives. However, in a defensive war, preventing the enemy from achieving its objectives constitutes victory for the defender.”

He said that in the recent imposed wars, the enemy failed to achieve any of its objectives, adding: “The enemy sought to destroy the Islamic Republic of Iran’s missile and drone capabilities, but the missiles and drones of the armed forces continued to be launched at the enemy with the utmost intensity until the very last moment. The armed forces also stood firmly against the enemy in various areas, including air defense, and in the process, a number of the enemy’s unmanned and manned aircraft, as well as strategic equipment, were damaged.”

Rejecting the claims made by Iran’s enemies about the condition of the country’s armed forces, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army stressed: “The enemy claims that it has destroyed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces, while they themselves know that the armed forces have always stood, and will continue to stand, firmly against the enemy with strength, initiative, creativity and courage.”

Major General Hatami described the unity and cohesion of the Iranian people as one of the most important realities of Iranian society, stressing: “The Iranian people, united and cohesive under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, have stood together in solidarity and shoulder to shoulder. This sense of unity and solidarity is growing stronger day by day.”
