Ejei: Iran’s resilience has become renowned worldwide

Pars Today — Iran’s Judiciary Chief said, upon returning from the meeting of the heads of the judiciaries of BRICS member states in India, that the resilience of the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic system has become renowned around the world.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Hojatoleslam Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei said at Mehrabad Airport on Saturday night, upon returning from New Delhi, where he had traveled at the invitation of senior Indian officials to attend the meeting of the heads of the judiciaries of BRICS member states, that the organization’s theme for the year focuses on sustainability, cooperation and resilience in various fields, particularly the economic sphere.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran has been a full embodiment of these concepts and examples, and the resilience of the Iranian people and the Islamic Republic system has become renowned worldwide,” he said.

The Iranian Judiciary Chief went on to elaborate on the diverse programs held during his two-day visit to India, stressing: “During this trip, we clearly realized the high standing and status our martyred Imam holds in the hearts of freedom-loving people around the world. The people and scholars of India spoke with great respect and reverence about the martyred leader of the Revolution.”

The Iranian Judiciary Chief, referring to some of the issues raised during bilateral meetings with senior officials from BRICS member states, said: “Many senior officials from these countries whom we met in bilateral meetings explicitly stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran had shattered the US hegemony, adding that they had not believed Iran could demonstrate such a high level of power, authority and resilience.

“Some of them said they had been concerned during the first days of the US aggression against Iran and believed that the Islamic Republic would not be able to withstand such a massive onslaught. However, as the conflict continued, they were amazed by the steadfastness of the Iranian people, fighters and officials.”

The Iranian Judiciary Chief added: “During our bilateral meetings with senior officials from BRICS member states, they expressed their willingness to strengthen understandings with the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields, particularly in the judicial and legal spheres, and were looking to formulate the technical and preliminary requirements necessary for implementing these understandings.”

Mohseni-Ejei, referring to a meeting with Indian scholars from various religions and denominations, as well as meetings with Iranian and Indian businesspeople, said: “The meetings and discussions held on the sidelines of the BRICS meeting of heads of judiciaries were highly productive.”
