    Rogue super tanker hits Iranian mines in Strait of Hormuz

Pars Today- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Command announced that the supertanker Al Ghayah exploded after hitting naval mines in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Pars Today, IRIB, the IRGC Navy Command said early Tuesday that the supertanker Al Ghayah, maritime identification number 9325336, which was attempting to pass through a prohibited area south of the Strait of Hormuz, exploded after hitting naval mines.

According to the IRGC Navy Command, efforts to contain the fire were unsuccessful, and the entire tanker was engulfed in flames.

The IRGC Navy Command stressed that warnings had previously been issued about the dangers of using the illegal passage. The Strait of Hormuz remains closed and under the Iranian Navy’s smart control.

IRGC Destroys Advanced MQ-1 Drone

Meanwhile, the IRGC Public Relations Department announced that early Tuesday, an advanced MQ-1 drone was intercepted and destroyed by the IRGC Aerospace Force’s advanced air-defense system while operating under Iran’s integrated air-defense network over the western skies of the Strait of Hormuz.
