Pezeshkian: National Unity government stands alongside armed forces and Iranian nation

Pars Today – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, expressing appreciation for the responsible and heroic presence of the Iranian people during critical moments, stressed that the national unity government is standing firmly alongside the armed forces to defend Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Wednesday that Iran’s resistance in the face of the enemy’s all-out pressure and aggression, together with the Iranian people’s presence on the scene for 200 nights and the sacrifices of the armed forces, reflects the determination of a nation that will not abandon Iran and is wholeheartedly committed to protecting its national interests.

Pezeshkian described the Iranian nation’s support for the national unity government as a major responsibility and a heavy commitment, stressing that the government stands alongside the armed forces and supports their efforts to defend Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, while standing with all the Iranian people with the same determination.

He said Iran is the home of all of us and that preserving and upholding its dignity is a shared responsibility for all political currents, groups and institutions in Iran. He stressed that all those who stood face-to-face with the enemy on the battlefield, or represented the strength of those on the front lines through wisdom and dialogue on the diplomatic front, had one goal: preserving a strong Iran.

Pezeshkian stressed that the enemies of Iran have targeted the unity and cohesion of the Iranian people, adding that our response should be to preserve our bonds, strengthen solidarity and stand together.

Major General Abdollahi: Sacred Unity of Iranian People Has Struck Fear in the Enemy

Major General Ali Abdollahi, Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, also wrote in a social media post that the presence and sacred unity of the Iranian people have boosted the morale of fighters, increased national power and instilled fear in the enemy.

He added: “This people’s presence is a legacy of our martyred Imam and an innovation of the people who have been sent forth.”
