China stresses expanding cooperation with Tehran to protect Iran’s rights and interests
Pars Today – Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, in a meeting with his Iranian counterpart, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, stressed that Beijing is willing to expand cooperation and dialogue with Tehran to protect Iran’s rights and interests.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Wang Yi said during a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday that the situation in West Asia remains unstable and is having a serious impact on international peace and development.
Noting that Tehran and Beijing are comprehensive strategic partners, he added that China, as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, is willing to play a constructive role in resolving international disputes.
The Chinese foreign minister also stressed that Beijing is willing to strengthen dialogue and cooperation with Tehran to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests.
