Araghchi: I held successful consultations in China

Pars Today – Following his visit to China, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi described the trip as successful, stressing that Iran attaches particular importance and value to its strategic partnership with China.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi wrote in a post on X early Thursday, September 17, 2026, after his visit to China:

“I held successful consultations with our partners in China. Iran attaches particular importance and value to the strategic partnership that we have built and strengthened with China over the years.

The decisions being made today will affect the future strategic balance in the region and will have numerous and far-reaching consequences.

The four principles of peace put forward by President Xi Jinping are of key importance.”
