Jahanshahi: Border units ready to counter threats

Pars Today – The commander of Iran’s Army Ground Forces said the Army’s border units have prepared to counter any potential threats and safeguard Iran’s security and territorial integrity through continuous deployment and readiness in various border areas.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army Ground Forces, said the force’s units had been deployed in various parts of Iran’s border areas before the imposed Ramadan War, in response to threats that had been anticipated in advance.

He added that the majority of the Army Ground Force units are deployed along Iran’s northwestern, western, southwestern, eastern, northeastern and southeastern borders, particularly along the Makran coast, and are at a high level of readiness.

Brigadier General Jahanshahi continued: “Today, the Army Ground Force units maintain an effective presence along Iran’s borders and are fully prepared to counter threats. This presence along the borders has created deterrence.”

The commander of Iran’s Army Ground Forces noted that the strong presence of Ground Force units along the borders of the Islamic Republic of Iran has prevented the enemy from daring to launch any operational action or attack along Iran’s borders.

Brigadier General Jahanshahi stressed: “By maintaining readiness and a continuous presence along the country’s borders, the Army Ground Force is carrying out its duty to safeguard the security and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
