Zimbabwean minister exhilarated with Iranian women's progress
Pars Today- Zimbabwean Minister of Women Affairs, Community, Small and Medium Enterprises Development, Monica Mutsvanga, expressed her exhilaration over the progress of Iranian women and measures taken by the government to empower them.
Mutsvanga, in a visit with Iranian President's Deputy for Women and Family Affairs, Ensiyeh Khazali, in the UN, New York, remembering her trip to Iran, said, "The Iranian government's supports for the Zimbabwean nation's struggle have consolidated relations of the two countries."
"The unjust and unilateral economic sanctions imposed by the Western governments against Iran and Zimbabwe have also caused pressure on women and girls", added she.
Khazali, for her part, said, "The record of combat against colonialism and independence-seeking of both countries have further deepened the bilateral relations."
In the end, the two officials described the situation of women in Gaza sorrowful and called for ending of all crimes against humanity towards the innocent people of Gaza.
