Pars Today- Iranian researchers have introduced a new treatment method which uses stem cells and seaweed for bone repair.

Bone repair is a physiological and growth-proliferation process in which the repair of bone damages and fracture is facilitated. According to Pars Today, Iranian researchers, in an innovative initiative, have invented a new method to address the issue. These researchers have used stem cells and brown marine algae of the Persian Gulf for bone repair.

This treatment method of the Iranian researchers has provided a remarkable success in bone regeneration in both laboratorial conditions and animal pattern.

This innovative treatment method has been carried out with the joint cooperation of cellular sciences expertise, biomaterial engineering, marine engineering, chemical and orthopedic engineering of Iranian universities.
