Tens of civilians flee US-controlled refugee camp in Syria\'s Homs
Over 150 refugees incarcerated by the US-backed militants in al-Rukban Camp in al-Tanf region in Eastern Homs opened a way to escape from the camp.
Tens of Syrian families, most of them women and children, managed to flee al-Rukban Camp controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for areas under the Syrian Army control through Jaliqam crossing in Eastern Homs, the Arabic-language SANA news agency reported on Monday.
The battlefield sources in Eastern Homs, meantime, confirmed that 150 Syrian refugees have escaped from al-Rukban Camp, and said that a large number of civilians have voiced eagerness to follow suit and escape from US-controlled al-Tanf region.
They also pointed to the very difficult humanitarian conditions of al-Rukban Camp and lack of foodstuff and hygienic products, and said that the terrorists stationed in the camp have stolen the humanitarian aids dispatched to this region and are blocking distribution of aid packages among the civilians.
