Israel assassinates top Hamas official in Beirut

Saleh al-Arouri was martyred by an explosion in a building in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Tuesday by an Israeli drone strike. Arouri was a senior official in Hamas’s resistance movement. He had previously headed the group’s presence in the occupied West Bank.
