  • How does Israel use Palestinians as human shields?

‏Pars Today - The American newspaper New York Times wrote: Israel uses civilians as human shields in its attacks on Palestinian buildings and facilities in Gaza.

The American media, citing the statements of Palestinians and Zionist military personnel who did not want to be named, reported: The real extent of the Zionist regime's use of this inhumane tactic is not yet clear, but evidence suggests that at least 11 Zionist military units in Gaza have committed this crime, and in most cases, the Zionist regime's security forces have been present alongside them.

According to Pars Today, quoting ISNA, several Zionist military personnel told the New York Times that these methods are common in the Zionist regime's army, and that the regime's intelligence agencies and senior commanders are also aware of this inhumane crime.

Lawrence Hill Katourn, a professor at the University of Bristol, England, says: Forcing Palestinian prisoners to search dangerous locations is not allowed, regardless of whether they are military or civilian.

The New York Times report states: The use of civilian prisoners in dangerous reconnaissance missions is an action that has little precedent in history, but the United States did something similar in the Vietnam War; an action that is considered a war crime.

Earlier, al Jazeera reported that Zionist military personnel forced Palestinian prisoners with their hands tied to enter Hamas tunnels so that if they were bombed, they would be the victims.
