Pars Today- A Palestinian artist and her husband were martyred in an Israeli attack on the al-Nusairat refugee camp in central Gaza on Wednesday.

Walaa Jumaa al-Afranji and Ahmad Saeid Salameh were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after Israel attacked a residential building near the Ein Jalut towers in al-Nusairat, where their deaths were confirmed.

According to Pars Today, Afranji, who was from Gaza, had moved to the camp after Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023.

She was a writer, artist, and fashion enthusiast. Before the war, Afranji worked at the well-known "Surprise" store in the bustling Rimal neighborhood of Gaza. Rimal, once one of Gaza's affluent areas, has been completely destroyed in Israeli bombings.
