Martyrdom of nearly 18,000 children in Gaza
Pars Today - "Munir Al-Bursh," the Director-General of Gaza’s Ministry of Health, reported the martyrdom of nearly 18,000 Palestinian children since the start of the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip.
According to Munir Al-Bursh, Director-General of Gaza’s Ministry of Health, from the beginning of the Zionist regime's attacks on the Gaza Strip until now, 17,954 children and 12,365 women have been martyred. According to Pars Today, He announced these statistics while calling for urgent action by the international community to save Gaza's healthcare system.
Al-Bursh also stated that the health situation in Gaza is on the verge of almost complete collapse, announcing that 22,000 patients are in dire need of treatment outside Gaza, with the condition of 13,000 of them being critical.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that more than 600,000 children in Gaza are at risk of permanent paralysis and chronic disabilities. According to this ministry's report, if vaccines are not brought into the Gaza Strip, 602,000 children will be at risk of paralysis and permanent disability.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza further called on relevant parties to protect medical centers, stating that the occupying regime's attacks have caused significant damage to intensive care units and alternative energy systems in hospitals.
In the same context, Al-Bursh, announced that 20 hospitals in Gaza have completely ceased operations.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health's announcement on Wednesday, as a result of the Zionist regime's army attacks on the Gaza Strip from October 7, 2023, until now, 51,305 Palestinians have been martyred.
Additionally, this Palestinian medical body stated that the total number of injuries from the Zionist regime's army attacks on the Gaza Strip since the start of the war has reached 117,096 people.
