Pars Today – Egyptian analysts, referring to Donald Trump's recent visit to three Arab countries in the region and their leaders' failure to ask the US president to stop the Gaza war, considered it a cause of anger among Arab nations.
According to Pars Today, Ismail Sabri, an Egyptian professor of political science and international relations, said on Wednesday: French President Emmanuel Macron recently stated that the only person in the world who can pressure Israel to stop the Gaza war is the US President.
He added: This reality was not hidden from the perspective of the sheikhdoms Trump met with. Just as Saudi Crown Prince "Mohammed bin Salman" convinced Trump to lift sanctions on Syria, he could have, along with other leaders of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, asked Trump to stop the Gaza war and open humanitarian corridors.
Sabri continued: Even if Trump hypothetically didn't listen to them, they should have at least raised this request and fulfilled their duty towards their brothers in Gaza. But they did nothing and will do nothing, because fundamentally, the Gaza war was not among their priorities. Their sole focus was on investment, money, energy, oil, Artificial Intelligence, technology, and arms deals, with no regard for the region's problems and crises.
This Egyptian university professor emphasized: This is also the reason for the anger in the Arab world – why the leaders of the three countries Trump visited did nothing for Gaza.
Referring to the extensive generosity of the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE towards Trump, he described it as unprecedented in diplomatic custom, stating: With such huge sums, not only Trump, but the whole world could have been bought.
Abbas Mansour, another Egyptian analyst, said: Americans are acting like their ancestors against the Native Americans in destroying the inhabitants of the Middle East and seizing their wealth. Americans destroyed the Native Americans, and now they are destroying the Palestinian people. The roots of Americans are based on murder and plunder.
The US President recently visited three Arab countries in the region. Trump's tour included Qatar and the UAE in addition to Saudi Arabia, and Washington stated its purpose was to strengthen strategic cooperation with the Persian Gulf states.
During the tour, the three Arab countries pledged to invest billions of dollars in the United States.
