Pars Today – The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement stressed that any Israeli presence in Somaliland will be considered a military threat to Yemen and regional countries and must be met with decisive action.

Abdul-Malik Badruddin al-Houthi stated that Israel’s decision to recognize Somaliland is a hostile move and part of a broader conspiracy against Islamic countries. According to Pars Today, al-Houthi emphasized that this Israeli action threatens not only Somaliland but also the security of regional countries, the Red Sea, and Yemen.

The Ansarullah leader described Israel’s aim behind this move as establishing a base for hostile activities and undermining regional countries, noting that the plan is not limited to Somalia but is being pursued under the so-called “Greater Middle East Project” in West Asia.

Al-Houthi stated that any Israeli presence in Somaliland will be regarded as a military threat to Yemen and the region and must be met with decisive action.

He emphasized that Israel’s hostile decision is null and void, holding no legal or legitimate value, and questioned, “How can Israel, which itself lacks legitimacy, confer legitimacy on others?”

Al-Houthi stressed the need for international action in response to the Zionist regime’s decision, saying that the stance of Arab and Islamic countries must be firm and serious, and that they should support Somalia and its people.

The Ansarullah leader added that Yemen’s position in supporting the brotherly people of Somalia against Israel is unwavering, and that Yemen will take all possible measures to back them. He stressed, “We will never allow any part of Somalia to be turned into an Israeli base, nor will we allow the independence, sovereignty, and security of the Somali people, the region, and the Red Sea to be endangered.”

Al-Houthi went on to say that any Israeli presence in the Somaliland region would be considered a military target for Yemeni forces.
