Tel Aviv’s actions constitute clear violation of human rights
Pars Today – The Arab Group at the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have strongly criticized recent Israeli actions in the occupied Palestinian territories, warning that they systematically violate the rights of Palestinians.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the Arab Group at the United Nations expressed deep concern and described the situation in the West Bank, al-Quds, and Gaza as highly dangerous. According to the group's statement, Israel is exploiting regional circumstances to impose unilateral changes in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Arab Group pointed to documented reports of abuses against Palestinian prisoners, including women and girls, stressing that Israel's recent actions are not isolated incidents but rather part of a broader strategy aimed at undermining Palestinian rights.
At the same time, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation warned of the consequences of Israeli policies. The organization stated that the expansion of settlement projects threatens the territorial unity of the occupied Palestinian territories by further dividing the West Bank.
The OIC also strongly condemned the approval of plans to build a military complex on the former site of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East headquarters, describing the move as a clear violation of the immunity and protection afforded to United Nations premises and facilities under international law.
The organization emphasized the need to respect international law and uphold the legal protections granted to UN institutions and facilities.
