Iran's Civil Defense Chief warns of Daesh access to biological weapons
Head of Iran's Civil Defense Organization Gholam Reza Jalali warned that the terrorist group of Daesh has gained access to the know-how for the limited production of biological weapons.
"We have received reports saying that the Daesh has gained the tools and know-how for the limited production of biological weapons which have, of course, been damaged during the war fortunately," Jalali said, addressing a forum in Tehran on Tuesday.
He also cautioned about the use of chemical weapons in any future clashes by the terrorist groups, specially Daesh, blasting the US and Europe for supporting them.
Elsewhere, General Jalali revealed that the US has transferred a part of the Daesh forces and equipment to Afghanistan.
The Daesh made extensive attempts to gain access to different kinds of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) ever since the terrorist group occupied parts of Syria and Iraq.
Media reports said in 2015 that the Daesh is trying very hard to gain access to fatal biological arms, and has killed many Iraqi scientists after they have rejected to help the Takfiri terrorist group produce such deadly weapons.
