Erdoğan: Israel Must Be Stopped Immediately

Pars Today – In a meeting with Iran’s Foreign Minister, Turkey’s president emphasized that the region cannot withstand another war, stating, “Israel must be stopped immediately, and the path to resolving the nuclear dispute lies through negotiations.”

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Turkey’s Presidential Communications office reported on a meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit. During the meeting, the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran as well as regional and international issues were discussed.

Erdoğan emphasized that the region cannot bear another conflict, stating: “Israel must be stopped as soon as possible, and resolving the nuclear issue must proceed through negotiations.”

Noting Turkey’s readiness to play any constructive role, including that of a facilitator, Erdoğan stated: “Steps should urgently be taken—both at the expert and leadership levels—to open the path for diplomacy between Iran and the United States. Turkey will continue to assist efforts in this direction.”
