Pars Today - The Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) said several oil tankers have been hit in the Strait of Hormuz in recent days, with the latest three being owned or chartered by the UAE.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the PGSA wrote on X on Thursday night, September 30, 2026, that several oil tankers had been hit in the Strait of Hormuz in recent days, with the latest three being owned or chartered by the UAE.
It added that reviews show the oil tankers AL RUWAIS, SINBAD and MERSIN PROSPERITY had attempted to transit the Strait of Hormuz several times over the past two months.
The authority’s statement stressed that notably, the names of these three oil tankers are also included in the PGSA’s latest updated list of non-compliant vessels.
