Montenegro: Thousands of protesters demand president's resignation

Thousands of people marched through the Montenegrin capital Podgorica on Saturday, demanding that the country's top officials, including President Milo Djukanovic and Prime Minister Dusko Markovic, resign amid corruption allegations.
According to Press TV, protesters marched from Independence Square to parliament and the presidential palace chanting slogans against the political leader.
Protesters also demanded that the opposition MPs boycott the parliament's work.
The protests were triggered in February by claims that the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), led by President Djukanovic, allegedly received financing from tycoons ahead of 2018 presidential elections, with funding used to bribe voters.
