US 2015 bombing of Kunduz hospital still haunts Afghanistan

Today marks the eighth anniversary of one of the most horrific attacks on a medical facility in recent history. Back in 2015, US warplanes heavily bombed a trauma hospital run by Doctors Without Borders in Afghanistan’s northern city of Kunduz, killing 42 people.
