Seven killed in bus explosion in Kabul
At least seven people have been killed and 20 others wounded when a bus exploded in the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday.
Kabul Police Spokesman Khalid Zadran said the explosion occurred in the capital's Dasht-e-Barchi neighborhood.
"An explosion occurred in a bus carrying civilian passengers in the Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul, unfortunately, seven of our compatriots were martyred and 20 others were injured," Zadran said.
He said security personnel have opened an investigation into the incident.
No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
Late last month, a deadly explosion occurred in a sports club in the same neighborhood, which was claimed by the Takfiri Daesh terrorist group.
Four people were killed and seven injured in that blast, authorities said at the time.
