Pars Today- Two women basketball players, Janna Eisa and Diaba Konate wearing hijab in the US, caused hope among fellow athletes to be famous while keeping hijab and female boundary.

Of course, they are not the first athletes who wear hijab during American women's basketball games (NCAA), but they have drawn attention of viewers due to their records and being popular.

Kamara, the founder of non-profit institute for empowerment of women and children, said about participation of these athletes with hijab in basketball games, "This conveys a vigorous message to all girls all over the world and lovers of sports fields regardless of their economic and cultural class."

Diaba Konate said on her playing with hijab in the competitions, "Representation is an important issue. Girls interested in hijab and female boundary are not present here (basketball). I am representing them and their view on me is success."

Konate has chosen hijab since 2020 and intends to attain a chance to play in her native country, France.

French Basketball Federation, so far, has not allowed women to participate in the country's teams with hijab.

Although these two hijab-clad athletes playing in the American basketball have not met each other, they are informed of one another's presence there.

"I am very happy that there are other people with hijab (in sports)", said Jannah Eisa about Diaba Konate's veiled presence in the competition.

This basketball player of NCAA added, "I never thought that one person can have such a great impact. The view of younger girls is focused on me. This is very joyful for me."

Eisa said on the inspiration of her measure among the American athletic community, "I will try as much as I can to create hope to materialize the participation of athletes with hijab and female boundary."

Every now and then new are heard on the growth of women's inclination to wear hijab. The importance of hijab for many women is to create a female boundary and sanctity enabling them to participate in various social domains without being abused and evaluated for their sexual and female attractions.
