Pars Today - The Secretary-General of the Ahlul-Bayt World Assembly Hojatol-Islam Reza Ramezani met and held talks with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro during his trip to the Latin American country.

According to the Mehr news agency, Nicolas Maduro at the beginning of this meeting, expressed his happiness about Hojatol-Islam Ramazani's trip to Venezuela, and described the relations between Iran and Venezuela as brotherly, deep, and ancient. Maduro in this meeting emphasized:

"These relations must be based on values and principles. We live in a world of bullying. Chavez believed that the 21st century is the century of nations, and we are part of it, the 21st century is our century. No one can take away our right to freedom, independence, and living in peace, and our right to connect with spirituality, culture, and religion.”

The President of Venezuela, referring to the fact that the friendship between Iran and Venezuela is not political and temporary, but rather real and strategic, emphasized the connection between the nations of Iran and Venezuela.

Maduro, referring to his meetings with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, described him as a wise person who has a precise and deep analysis of the world and its developments.

He emphasized: “We always use the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and I request the Secretary-General of the Ahlul-Bayt World Assembly to convey my special greetings to His Eminence Ayatollah Khamenei.”

Zionists are currently ruling the United States

The Venezuelan president, analyzing the current state of the world, said:

“The world has entered a new era of transformation. About 100 years have passed since Nazism and Fascism, but today we are witnessing the presence of Nazi and Fascist currents in the United States and Western countries. All the problems of the world today stem from this Fascist and Nazi outlook that has penetrated all the pillars of Western countries.”

He added:

“Zionists are currently ruling the United States, and military, political, and economic power is in their hands. Both the Republican and Democratic parties in the United States are controlled by Zionists. The two main powers, namely military power and social networks, are under their control. Zionists have endangered peace with their military power, and with their control over social networks, including Facebook, X, and the like, they manipulate public opinion.”

Maduro noted:

“Of course, we have entered a multipolar world today, where different power poles such as China, Russia, and Iran have formed. Iran has made good progress in the military field, and this country should also enter the social networks field powerfully. We in Venezuela have taken our first step in developing science and technology, and we have started scientific exchanges between Venezuela and Iran, which I hope will expand.”

The depth and strategic nature of relations between Iran and Venezuela

Also in this meeting, Hojatol-Islam Ramezani, the Secretary-General of the Ahlul-Bayt World Assembly, describing the relations between Iran and Venezuela as deep and strategic, emphasized:

"Oppressing and accepting oppression is condemned based on the principles of our religion, and on the other hand, dignity and justice are emphasized."

He added:

“Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him) taught a great lesson to the Iranian nation and the nations of the world; that lesson was that we can stand against oppression and embark on the path of civilization-building. Imam Khomeini believed in four principles: faith in God, faith in the goal, faith in the path, and faith in the people. Based on these four principles and pillars of faith, Imam Khomeini (God's mercy upon him) led a revolution and brought about changes in Iran and the world, disrupting the existing global equations.”

Hojatol-Islam Ramezani added:

“Changes must take place in the world so that the wealth of the world is distributed fairly among all people, not just 10% of the world's population benefiting from 90% of the world's resources, while 90% of the world's population only benefits from 10% of the resources.”

Referring to modern slavery, he further stated:

“Oppression is being committed in the world by some governments, which can be considered modern slavery, and it must be eradicated. In the past, 100 or 1,000 people were taken as slaves, but today, entire nations are being enslaved, so we must truly respect human rights.”

He added:

“Justice holds a central position in Shia thought, and the symbol of justice in this thought is Imam Ali (PBUH). Thinkers such as George Jordac have paid attention to this issue. Rationality, spirituality, and justice are the three pillars of Shia thought, which arise from the teachings of the Ahlul-Bayt (Peace be upon them).”

The Secretary-General of the Ahlul-Bayt World Assembly added:

“Jesus Christ (PBUH) will come to empower nations. We Shias also believe that Imam Mahdi (May God hasten his reappearance) will come to empower nations, and the government will fall into the hands of the righteous, and the oppressed who have been under tyranny will rule the world, and the oppressors, arrogant, and tyrants will be eliminated.”

Hojatol-Islam Ramezani noted:

“Iran has changed from a regional power to a global power. Iran's capabilities in various fields are due to its scientific growth and power. Iran ranks among the top 10 countries in some scientific fields and holds the 16th rank in global scientific rankings. Therefore, Iran is ready to share its scientific experiences and achievements with other countries. We are prepared to share the experiences we have gained in Iran under sanctions with Venezuela.”

Maduro’s emphasis on attention to the followers of the Ahlul-Bayt school

At the end of this meeting, Hojatol-Islam Ramezani requested the President of Venezuela to pay special attention to the followers and lovers of the school of Ahlul-Bayt (Peace be upon them) in Venezuela and to invite their representatives to related ceremonies. This request was strongly considered by the President of Venezuela, who emphasized that the representatives of the followers of the Ahlul-Bayt school are always invited.

Also present at this meeting were Dr. Abdolhossein Kalantari, Cultural and Social Deputy of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Hojatollah Soltani, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Venezuela; Ramon Velasquez, Minister of Transportation of Venezuela and Head of the Venezuelan Commission for Cooperation with Iran; Yvan Gil Pinto, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela; Freddy Alfred Nazareth, Vice President of Venezuela for Cultural and Tourism Affairs and Minister of Communications of this country.
