US military costs soar in West Asia due to Israeli defeats
Pars Today- According to the announcement of an American daily, the country's naval interventions during the past year in West Asia, to support the Zionist regime, and the attacks the navy itself has launched against the axis of resistance, have been very costly for the US military.
The American daily, Business Insider, informed of the exorbitant expense of nearly $2 billion resulting from the military interference of the US navy to support the Zionist regime in West Asia for the past year. According to Pars Today, Business Insider, quoting from a US navy spokesperson, announced that the warships and aircraft of the US navy, which have been deployed in the past year in West Asia and the peripheries, have spent some $1.85 billion for ammunitions to bomb the targets belonging to the Ansarullah of Yemen in the Red Sea and also what the daily calls "defense of Israel against the attacks of Iran and the resistance forces".
Experts are of the opinion that the unprecedented operation of the Yemeni army, in addition to thwarting the US and British efforts to break the maritime siege on the Zionist regime, revealed a military prowess which Washington was unaware of and, in fact, it shattered the US equations.
Meanwhile, during the two operations "True Promise 1" and "True Promise 2" of Iran against the Zionist regime which inflicted remarkable losses and defeats to the Zionist regime since early Iranian calendar year 1403 (April 13 and October 1, 2024 respectively), the US made efforts to defend its illegitimate ally. Business Insider wrote on the issue that the warships of the American navy, which are deployed in the east of the Mediterranean, launched missiles to intercept the Iranian missiles both in Operation True Promise 1 on April 13 and Operation True Promise 2 on October 1.
Recently, in a bid to increase its support for Zionists due to observing tactical changes in the battle and consecutive failure of the so-called "Iron Dome" to counter the rocket attacks from Lebanon and Gaza and, most importantly, Iranian missiles, the United States has deployed "THAAD" defense system in the Occupied Territories with the aim of bolstering the aerial defense of the fake Zionist regime.
This is while, despite all supports for Israel, the US has not only been defeated and seriously questioned for the expenses, but also has been concerned due to running out of highly expensive weapons such as the intercepting SM3 missiles.
