  • U.S. tension escalation from Gaza to Venezuela

Pars Today - The United States, continuing its pattern of escalating tensions in West Asia, has claimed that a proposal to resolve disputes, which would extend the ceasefire in Gaza, remains on the table.

A U.S. State Department spokesperson said: "At this moment, the proposal to resolve disputes is still available. This proposal would extend the ceasefire and secure the release of five living captives, including the American 'Edan Alexander.'"

According to Pars Today, the U.S. State Department spokesperson claimed on Wednesday that the proposal would also ensure the release of a significant number of Palestinians held in Israeli prisons. In this Pars Today report, we take a look at several other instances of the United States' ongoing escalation against other nations:

U.S. pressure on Baghdad to revive oil exports via 'ITP'
The U.S. continues to pursue its interests in Iraq. In this regard, Tommy Bruce, a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department, said on Wednesday: "We urge the Iraqi government to reach an agreement with international oil companies for oil exports through the Iraq-Turkey Pipeline (ITP) and to honor existing contracts with American companies."

Control of Ukraine’s nuclear facilities under the pretext of security
U.S. President Donald Trump has proposed that Washington take control of Ukraine’s nuclear facilities to prevent future Russian attacks. Political experts argue that Trump’s proposal aligns with the U.S.’s broader looting policies in Ukraine.

Trump’s claims against Iran and Yemen’s Ansarullah
U.S. President Donald Trump, continuing his threats against resistance groups in the region, once again repeated baseless claims against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Without providing credible evidence, he threatened Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, claiming their defeat.

On Wednesday, Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, claiming without proof: "Reports suggest that while Iran has reduced its military equipment and public support for the Houthis, they continue to send substantial amounts of equipment to the group."

Escalation of U.S. sanctions against Venezuela
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, in a threatening tone on Tuesday, raised the possibility of imposing new sanctions on Venezuela. The American official stated that Venezuela must unconditionally accept the return of its citizens from the United States, referring to the matter as non-negotiable.
