Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Israeli regime’s plan for the full military occupation of Gaza and the forced displacement of its people is yet another sign of the regime’s specific intent for genocide in the occupied Palestinian territories.

According to Pars Today, on Friday night, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, emphasized the legal and moral responsibility of every government and the United Nations to stop the genocide and heinous crimes committed by the Israeli regime. He called the continued complicity of the U.S. and some Western countries in these crimes shameful and asserted:

“Forcing Israel to stop the genocide and urgently sending humanitarian aid to the hungry and thirsty people of Gaza is a necessary step to end a tragedy that has shaken the legal, normative, and moral foundations of human civilization.”

Iran also stressed the necessity of prosecuting the Israeli regime in international bodies and demanded the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Europe distances itself from Israel

The foreign ministers of Australia, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, in a joint statement, declared that they strongly reject the Israeli Security Cabinet’s decision to carry out another large-scale military operation in Gaza.

The statement read: This operation will worsen the catastrophic humanitarian situation in Gaza, endanger the lives of captives, and increase the risk of mass displacement of civilians. The plans announced by Israel risk violating international humanitarian law, and any attempt to annex territory or expand settlements constitutes a breach of international law.

U.S. investments: Behind the scenes of Azerbaijan–Armenia peace

Qatar’s Al Jazeera network reported that a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia was signed with the mediation of U.S. President Donald Trump.

At the signing ceremony, Trump said that Armenia and Azerbaijan had agreed on a final cessation of hostilities, the resumption of diplomatic relations, and bilateral cooperation. He added: “Following the signing of the peace agreement, we will conclude bilateral contracts in various sectors between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and American companies will make major investments in both countries, which will have a positive impact on their situation.”

Ongoing genocide in Gaza: 41 more Palestinians martyred

The Israeli regime, continuing its assault on the Gaza Strip, has martyred at least 41 Palestinian civilians over the past 24 hours.

Hospital sources in Gaza reported that 21 of the victims were people standing in line to receive humanitarian aid at various distribution points when they were targeted by Israeli forces.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that since the beginning of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, the number of Palestinian martyrs has reached 61,330, while the number of wounded has exceeded 152,359.

According to the report, so far 1,772 people have been martyred in Gaza while trying to obtain food, and more than 1,229 others have been injured.

Trump’s Vice President: No to a Palestinian state; Yes to continued Israeli occupation

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance stressed that the United States has no plans to recognize an independent Palestinian state.

Reacting to the decision by some European countries to recognize Palestine, Vance said: “The United Kingdom can make its own specific decision regarding the recognition of a Palestinian state. Our position on the desired objectives in West Asia differs from that of the UK.”

This senior U.S. official, whose country is a partner in the Israeli regime’s crimes against the Palestinian people, claimed: “We are focused on resolving the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and reaching a point where Hamas is no longer a threat to Israel.”

Israel on the verge of losing its last European supporter

According to Mehr News Agency, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said on Friday, in response to the Israeli regime’s plan to expand military operations in the Gaza Strip, that the German government will, until further notice, not approve any exports of military equipment to Israel that could be used in the region.

Merz expressed deep concern over the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip and named the release of Israeli captives and negotiations for a ceasefire as Berlin’s top priorities.

At the same time, Israel’s Channel 12 TV reported: “Germany’s decision is highly concerning. The last bastion of support for Israel in Western Europe has also fallen.”
