Pars Today – The BRICS global media tour concluded in Kazan, Russia.

According to Pars Today, citing TV BRICS, participants in the BRICS global media tour held in Kazan reviewed current media issues and praised the hospitality of the people of Tatarstan.

Aidar Salimgaraev, head of Tatmedia and a BRICS media partner, stated, “Media play a key role in shaping global developments. We believe that media cooperation can help build a safer world and strengthen friendship among countries.”

The BRICS media tour is one of BRICS TV’s ongoing projects aimed at fostering collaboration among media professionals from BRICS+ member countries during international events.

Digital economy agreement in ASEAN

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is preparing to sign the Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) next year. According to VNA, a media partner of TV BRICS, the agreement could double the region’s digital economy by 2030, reaching a value of $2 trillion.

CIS+ cooperation framework approved

Leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have agreed to establish a new cooperation framework called CIS+. The initiative is designed to expand engagement with other countries and international organizations.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated that this move represents a step toward strengthening regional cooperation and creating a sustainable architecture in Eurasia.

Central Asia and Russia approve joint action plan through 2027

Leaders of Central Asian countries and Russia have approved a joint action plan extending through 2027.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that trade between Russia and the region grew by 4 percent from January to July 2025. He added that approximately 25,000 Russian-invested companies are currently active in Central Asia, implementing numerous projects across various sectors.
