Hend Rajab Foundation cooperates with Europol to pursue Israeli soldiers
Pars Today – The Hend Rajab Foundation, known for its legal pursuit of Israeli soldiers, has announced that it has begun close cooperation with the European Union’s law-enforcement agency, Europol, in order to follow up on cases related to war crimes committed by the Israeli regime’s army.
According to Pars Today, the cooperation between the Hend Rajab Foundation and the European Union’s law-enforcement agency was raised during Europol’s official meetings in The Hague. Its aim is to examine the possibility of filing legal cases against Israeli military personnel accused of committing war crimes and human rights violations during operations against Palestinians.
Representatives of the Hend Rajab Foundation at the “Gaza Tribunal” event in Istanbul, Turkey, emphasized that the organization aims to achieve justice for crimes against humanity by gathering documents and evidence, as Israeli soldiers have carried out actions during attacks on Gaza and the West Bank that constitute war crimes and must be prosecuted in international courts.
Although some pro-Israeli institutions, including NGO Monitor and the Anti-Defamation League, have accused the foundation of holding anti-Israeli positions and having ties to Islamic groups, the Hend Rajab Foundation insists that its primary focus is exposing the identities of Israeli soldiers and pursuing legal cases against them.
The Hend Rajab Foundation notes that military service in Israel is mandatory, and many soldiers have participated in operations against Palestinians.
Europol, while confirming its contact with the Hend Rajab Foundation, stated that it conducts the necessary checks to verify the backgrounds of such organizations.
The cooperation between the Hend Rajab Foundation and Europol could be an important step toward the legal pursuit of Israeli soldiers and the documentation of their war crimes—an effort that strengthens the hope for justice for Palestinian victims.
