Pars Today – Péter Magyar, Hungary’s new prime minister, said that if Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Israeli regime, enters this European country, he must be arrested.
According to Pars Today, Péter Magyar, Hungary’s prime minister‑designate, referring to the current government of Viktor Orbán and its intention to withdraw from the International Criminal Court (ICC), stated: “I have explicitly informed the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that our government’s firm position is to halt this withdrawal process, and that Hungary will remain a member of the ICC.” He added: “If a country is a member of the International Criminal Court and a person wanted by the Court enters our territory, that person must be detained.”
The International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants on Thursday, November 21, 2024, for Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Israeli regime, and Yoav Gallant, the regime’s former war minister, on charges of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the use of starvation (starving the people of Gaza) as a weapon.
Additionally, in December 2023, South Africa filed a case against the Israeli regime at the International Court of Justice, asserting that it had violated the Genocide Convention with respect to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
