U.S. President Donald Trump
Pars Today — A security analyst in the U.S. Congress said: “Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu convinced Donald Trump to launch a war against Iran on behalf of the ‘Greater Israel Project.’ Everything Trump said about this war was a lie.”
According to Pars Today, David Pyne, Deputy Director of National Operations at the U.S. Homeland Security Task Force (an official advisory body in Congress), said in an online interview that U.S. President Donald Trump’s war against Iran was a war based on lies for the “Greater Israel Project,” noting that the U.S. president acted like a proxy of the Israeli regime.
He warned that thousands of American soldiers could be killed in a potential ground invasion of Iran and argued that the war demonstrates the need to end Washington’s security ties with Tel Aviv.
The American security analyst believes that many Persian Gulf countries are angry with the U.S. for prioritizing the defense of the Israeli regime and for the instability caused by the war against Iran. The former U.S. Army officer also warned about the costs of American threats against Iran’s islands, saying that U.S. forces in the region are exposed to artillery fire, missiles, and drones.
