Hamas warns complete collapse of Gaza ceasefire agreement

Pars Today- The spokesperson for the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), while stressing the movement’s full readiness to implement the roadmap agreed upon with the UN Special Coordination Committee on the Gaza peace plan, warned that the complete collapse of the ceasefire agreement and its related roadmap was the result of the occupying regime’s refusal to abide by the agreement.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem stressed the movement’s full readiness to implement the roadmap agreed upon with the United Nations Special Coordination Committee regarding the Gaza peace plan, noting that it had taken all necessary measures to do so.

Qassem added that the complete collapse of the ceasefire agreement and its related roadmap was the result of the occupying regime’s refusal to abide by the agreement and its escalation of aggression against the people of Gaza, along with the failure of the Special Coordination Committee and its representative, “Nikolay Mladenov,” to compel the occupiers to implement it.

The Hamas spokesman stressed the need for all parties, particularly the U.S. government and the Special Coordination Committee, to facilitate the entry of the technocratic committee into the Gaza Strip so that it can fulfill its responsibilities toward the residents of the Strip and begin the process of deploying international forces, in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and its related roadmap.

Earlier, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that, on the eve of elections in the Israeli regime, disputes over the future of the Gaza Strip had intensified, with reports indicating that Israeli officials were refusing to cooperate with the “Gaza Peace Council.”
