According to Pars Today, the Wall Street Journal reported that assessments indicate Iran has enhanced its preparedness to counter a new US attack and strengthened its defensive fortifications, particularly around its nuclear facilities.

According to the report, Iranian officials have said that Iran would respond more forcefully if the United States launches another attack against the country, and that the scope of its attacks would expand.

The report said Iran had informed mediators that, in the event of a new attack, US warships in the region and their crews would be targeted. Arab countries in the Persian Gulf that host US military bases would also be within the reach of such attacks.
