Israel has 90 nuclear warheads
Pars Today - The International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN) estimates that Israel possesses at least 90 nuclear warheads.
ICAN noted that Israel is increasing its nuclear budget. According to Pars Today, ICAN added that Israel’s nuclear budget has seen an annual increase of 2.4%, amounting to $1.1 billion.
In this regard, Alicia Sanders-Zakre, the coordinator of policies and research at ICAN, said: "According to our approximate assessments, Israel has 90 nuclear warheads, but it is very difficult to obtain an exact figure, as there is no transparency in Israel."
She also expressed concern over the recent threats made by the Zionist regime to use nuclear weapons in Gaza.
ICAN also announced that the United States spent $51.5 billion last year to modernize its nuclear arsenal, more than the total spent by all other nuclear powers combined.
